March 5 - Winter Tree Walk with Martha Cownap

Martha Cownap, Master Naturalist, led about 15 enthusiastic followers of Gardening Around the Village on a Winter Tree Walk SUN afternoon MAR 5 up at Reservoir Park.  She taught how to ID trees in winter by their bark, branches, and fallen debris.  At the end she shared delicious tea she had made from the flowers of the Linden tree near the parking lot, and maple syrup she had made from tapping a maple tree at Camphill Kimberton Village, where she is head herbalist.
